Biography

Dr. Imran Hameed is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business, Sohar University, Oman. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences with a specialization in Organizational Behavior and HRM from Aix-Marseille University, France. With over two decades of diverse academic and professional experience, Dr. Hameed has previously served in leading institutions in Pakistan and KSA. He is a prolific researcher with peer-reviewed publications, in highly reputed journals (i.e., ABDC, and ABS listed) such as Journal of Business Ethics, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Tourism Management, Personnel Psychology, and Journal of Management. He is also the Associate Editor of the Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences and a recognized HEC PhD supervisor in Pakistan. His academic work has received accolades such as the “Best Young Research Scholar Award” by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Dr. Hameed is known for his expertise in organizational identification, psychological contracts, employee creativity, knowledge hiding, and bottom-line mentality, and is a skilled trainer in advanced quantitative analysis including SEM, and multilevel modeling.
