Dr. Hanan Ahmed Al-Balushi
Biography
Hanan Al-Balushi is a lecturer at the Faculty of Business, Sohar University, Oman. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM), completed in 2025. Her academic background combines strong expertise in human resource management and international business law. She is also an alumna of the University of Queensland, Australia, where she earned a Master of Business in Human Resource Management in 2013, and Sohar University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Management in 2007. In addition, she completed an Executive Mini-LLM in International Business Law from the London School of Business and Finance in 2022.
Dr. Al-Balushi’s research interests include organizational management, sustainability, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and entrepreneurship. Her work focuses on integrating sustainable business practices within HR and SME frameworks in the Gulf region. She is actively involved in academic research, mentoring, and university development initiatives.
