Biography

Dr. Salahaldin Jebarah is a distinguished legal scholar and practitioner with extensive academic and professional experience across Sudan, the Netherlands, the UK, and the Gulf region. He holds a PhD in Commercial Law from the University of Wolverhampton and an LLM in International Business and Commercial Law from the University of West London.

Before transitioning into academia, Dr. Jebarah practiced as a solicitor in the United Kingdom, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in commercial and corporate law. His academic career has been equally impressive, having served as Head of the College of Law at Gulf University in Bahrain and as a judicial trainer for the Sudanese Ministry of Justice, where he played a key role in enhancing the legal skills of judges and legal professionals.

Currently, Dr. Jebarah serves as an expert in the Department of Commercial Law at the College of Business, Sohar University, Oman. In this role, he contributes to both teaching and research, focusing on commercial law, international trade, and dispute resolution.

Dr. Jebarah is a prolific researcher and author, with numerous publications in reputable journals and books covering various aspects of commercial law, arbitration, and cross-border transactions. His work reflects a deep understanding of the evolving legal landscape and its practical implications in a globalized economy.

As an external reviewer for the National Qualifications Framework (Law Program) under the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority, Dr. Jebarah plays a vital role in ensuring academic excellence and alignment with international standards. He remains deeply committed to advancing legal education and fostering scholarly inquiry in the field of law.
