Dr Zulfiqar Ali Imran
Biography
Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Imran is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business, Sohar University, Oman. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Universiti Utara Malaysia, with a dissertation focused on the impact of governance quality on stock price momentum in international stock markets. With over 15 years of diversified experience in academia and industry across Pakistan, Malaysia, Ireland, and Oman, Dr. Imran has published extensively in high-impact journals such as Energy Economics, Renewable Energy, Natural Resources Forum, and Environmental Science and Pollution Research. He was honored with the Best Researcher Award in 2022 at Lahore Business School, University of Lahore. His research spans financial markets, green bonds, governance, energy economics, and portfolio diversification.
