Dr. Khalid Al-Qatiti
Biography
Dr. Khalid Al. Qatiti is an Assistant Professor of Management and Supply Chain Management at Sohar University, Oman. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from University Utara Malaysia and an MBA from Bedford University, UK. With over two decades in academia and administration, he previously served as Business Development Manager at Sohar University from September 2016 to September 2020. His contributions extend to teaching and research in entrepreneurship, and his research, recognized in Q1 and Q2 journals, focuses on FDIs, Innovation, and industrial policy. He contributed to the establishment of the Technology Transfer Office at Sohar University and his latest research outputs include studies on city port sustainability (2025), digital proficiency for female micro-entrepreneurs (2024), hydrogen energy prospects in Oman (2024), and developing a business model for the downstream and upstream ecosystem in Oman (2023).
