Biography

Dr. Abdulrazak Al-Mashhadani has over 15 years of experience in academia, including 11 years in higher education and 5 years in secondary education. He earned his doctorate from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), an AACSB-accredited university, and is currently an Assistant Professor of Information Management at Sohar University, Oman. Previously, he served as a Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s Azman Hashim International Business School and UCSI University’s Faculty of Business and Information Science, teaching courses in management and information systems at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has supervised 20+ master’s theses and 30+ student research projects. His research includes publications in journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters, as well as participation in projects funded by Malaysia’s Ministry of Education (MOE), the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS), and Sohar University’s Internal Grant (Sustainable Future Fund). He has also contributed as a consultant to Malaysia’s Higher Education Action Plan. Beyond academia, he collaborates with external partners in academia and industry to apply research in business information management and digital transformation.
