Dr Omar Mohammed Khamis Al Mazroui
Biography
Dr. Omar Mohammed Al-Mazrouei is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business, Sohar University, Oman. His specialization and research interests include strategic planning, leadership, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and organizational innovation.
He is a dynamic and results-oriented academic and professional leader with more than 18 years of experience in higher education, training, and business development. Dr. Al-Mazrouei has a proven record of achievement in developing strategic initiatives, designing national training programs, and leading institutional transformation projects aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
He is a certified facilitator in the One Government Team Initiative, a national program launched by the Royal Academy of Management under the Royal Blessing of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, where he contributes to fostering collaboration, leadership, and impact across government entities. He is also a graduate of the Etimad National Leadership Program, which develops leaders capable of driving institutional excellence and innovation.
His work spans academic teaching, research, and leadership development, with notable contributions to entrepreneurship, community engagement, and the training industry. His academic philosophy integrates practical management principles with applied research to empower enterprises in their growth and sustainability journey.
