Biography

Ms. Raya AlRajaibi, a lecturer at Sohar University, began working there in 2009 after receiving her BA in English Language and Translation from Sohar University. In 2017, Ms. Raya gained a scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman to do her MA studies in Translation Studies at Leicester University, UK. In 2019, she started her PhD studies in audio-visual translation at the International Islamic University Malaysia. She currently teaches translation courses in the Faculty of Language Studies. Her research interests focus on translation studies.
