Dr Arshad Ahmad
Biography
Dr. Arshad Ahmad is an Assistant Professor of Software Engineering and Program Coordinator for the Software Engineering/Computing and Web Engineering program at Sohar University, Oman. He completed his postdoctoral research at the Institute of Software Systems Engineering, Johannes Kepler University, Austria. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (Software Engineering) from the Beijing Institute of Technology, China, an MS in Software Engineering from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan. With more than ten years of academic, research, and industry experience across Oman, Austria, Germany, China, Pakistan, and Sweden, Dr. Ahmad has established a strong international profile in software engineering. His research focuses on Software Requirements Engineering, Software Testing and Quality Assurance, Artificial Intelligence for Software Engineering, Software Analytics, and Empirical Software Engineering. He has authored numerous publications in leading SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and international conferences and actively contributes to curriculum development, outcome-based education, quality assurance, programme accreditation, and research supervision.
