Sohar University welcomed Dr. Bashir Abbas Samaha, Consultant of Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and Russian Universities, during a visit aimed at exploring opportunities for academic collaboration between the university and Russian academic associations.
The visit included discussions on the potential development of joint academic programs and the promotion of experience exchange between Sohar University and Russian academic associations. The talks also explored avenues for cooperation in scientific research, student and faculty exchange programs, and the organization of joint conferences and academic events.
During his visit, Dr. Bashir Abbas Samaha emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between Arab and Russian universities to meet the aspirations of higher education and scientific research on both sides. The VC of Sohar University welcomed the visit, expressing the university’s commitment to exploring new opportunities for international academic collaboration in line with its strategic vision to enhance global standing, innovation, and community service.
