Sohar University will launch the activities of the Career Training Fair 2026 tomorrow, Monday. The forum will run from 2 to 4 February 2026 with participation from public and private sector institutions. The forum aims to enhance students’ readiness to integrate into the Omani labor market across its various sectors.

The forum will be held under the patronage of Dr. Mohammed bin Mustafa Al Najjar, Director General of Training at the Ministry of Labour, as part of an institutional partnership that seeks to align higher education outcomes with labor market requirements and to enhance training and professional qualification opportunities for university students and graduates.

The forum includes an exhibition featuring participating institutions, enabling students and graduates to explore training opportunities and providing an effective environment for direct engagement with representatives from public and private entities. It also features a series of specialized workshops focusing on labor market skills, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, communication and leadership, professional networking, as well as trends in the Omani labor market.

The forum reflects the University’s commitment to providing an interactive platform that brings together students, experts, and institutional representatives, while promoting a culture of sustainable professional development.
