Molhemon Series Initiative

On the evening of Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Sohar University, represented by the Communication and Marketing Department, hosted the final session of its inspiring talk series “Molhemon” at the university campus. This year’s series carried the theme “Stories from Journeys to Be Told”, and witnessed a remarkable turnout from students, members of the community, and university officials.

The session featured Dr. Lamya Al Haj, a lecturer at Sultan Qaboos University and an active figure in social media and volunteer work, and Dr. Hani Al Qadhi, a trauma surgery consultant and social activist. The discussion was moderated by Mohammed Al Hinai, host of the program “Jalsat Karak,” who brought a casual and engaging tone to the dialogue.

During the session, the guests shared inspiring reflections on their university experiences, memorable moments that shaped their journeys, strategies for coping with exam anxiety, and insights into the diversity of student personalities and needs. They also highlighted the role of family, the importance of a positive environment in shaping one’s character, and how to overcome negative thought cycles. Additionally, they emphasized the value of appreciation and the enriching impact of volunteer work on personal and community life.

This final session served as a meaningful conclusion to a series of motivational talks designed to share real-life experiences, inspire students to build their paths with confidence and positivity, and promote human values and self-empowerment. The initiative aligns with Sohar University’s five-year strategic plan aimed at serving the community, enriching the student experience, and fostering perseverance and resilience in an engaging learning environment.
