Dr Mahmoud Elwakeel
Biography
Mahmoud Elwakeel is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Education, Sohar University, with a Ph.D. earned in 2014 from Temple University, USA. He previously served as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the Faculty of Specific Education, Tanta University. His research interests encompass Curriculum and Methodology of Music Education, Multimodal Pedagogy, Special Needs Education, Differentiated Teaching, Creative Thinking (SCAMPER Strategy), Innovative Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Flipped Classroom, Microteaching, Technology in Teaching, Knowledge Economy, and Cooperative Learning, with a focus on Music Education. Throughout his career, Dr. Elwakeel has received notable awards, including a Scholarship and Graduate Teaching Assistantship at Temple University in 2013 and a full Ph.D. scholarship in 2009 from the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau in collaboration with Tanta University. He also serves as a reviewer for Educational Research and Reviews.
