Biography
Dr. Anas is an Assistant Professor of Educational Technology at Sohar University, Oman. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Technology and a Master’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology in Education. His academic expertise lies in the integration of technology in educational settings, with a strong focus on blended learning, ARCS Model of Motivational Design, and innovative pedagogical strategies. As both an educator and researcher, Dr. Anas is deeply engaged in exploring emerging technologies that enhance learning experiences. His research interests encompass artificial intelligence in education, assistive technologies, serious games, educational games, virtual reality, augmented reality, and flipped learning. Beyond teaching and research, he actively contributes to the professional development of educators and researchers through specialized workshops, including “Qualitative Data Analysis Using NVivo 12” “Using EndNote in Academic Writing”, “Designing Engaging Educational Experiences Using the EON-XR Platform” and “Enhancing E-Learning Through LMS and Interactive H5P Content Creation”. His workshops cater to a diverse audience, including researchers, educators, and students, equipping them with essential skills in technology-enhanced learning and academic research.
