Biography
Dr. Ala Ali Nemer Amourah is an Associate Professor at Sohar University, affiliated with the Faculty of Education and Arts.
He earned his Ph.D. from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), ranked 126th in the QS World University Rankings 2025. Prior to that, he completed his Master’s degree in 2014 from the same prestigious institution. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree from Al al-Bayt University, Jordan, in 2005.
With a strong commitment to research and academia, Dr. Amourah has supervised over 20 Master’s students and served as an examiner for more than 30 Master’s theses. His scholarly contributions include over 100 Scopus-indexed publications, reflecting his expertise and dedication to advancing knowledge in his field.
In recognition of his outstanding research, he was awarded the Distinguished Researcher Award for 2021–2022. Additionally, he has actively participated in more than 7 international mathematics conferences, further establishing his presence in the global academic community.
Beyond his research, Dr. Amourah serves as an editor and reviewer for multiple scientific journals, contributing to the peer-review process and upholding academic standards.
