Biography

I consider myself a citizen of the world! Born in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, I spent the next 16 years of my life in Zambia in Africa. I moved to India to complete my higher education for the next 8 years, and after a hiatus, I started working in Oman in 2004. My exposure to all these cultures has shaped my outlook on life and helped me to adapt to any environment I am placed in. Coming from a teaching background, with both my parents being educators, my interest and commitment to this career is inborn and explains why I have been teaching for more than 30 years, 20 of which have been in Oman! I believe I am a part of the cohort that has shaped the next generation of Omani citizens for the best future of the country. Learning never really stops, and I believe I have a lot more to do!
