As part of its commitment to fostering a positive work environment, Sohar University organized the Staff Day Out 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, with wide participation from university employees and their family members.
The event provided an interactive space combining recreation and social engagement, running from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and featured a diverse program of sports and entertainment activities catering to all age groups. Sporting events included football, volleyball, tug-of-war, and table tennis, in addition to marine and leisure activities such as boating, beach cycling, and swimming, all of which helped promote team spirit and positive interaction among participants.
The Open Day also included a variety of family-friendly activities such as water games, face painting, horse and camel riding, henna art, cartoon characters, coloring activities, and inflatable play areas for children. These activities created a joyful and engaging atmosphere, reflecting the University’s attention to the family and human dimensions of the workplace.
The organization of this event aligns with Sohar University’s strategy to promote work-life balance and create a supportive work environment that enhances employee satisfaction and a sense of belonging, ultimately contributing positively to institutional performance and the sustainability of human resources.
