Sohar University has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Directorate General of Labour in North Al Batinah Governorate as part of the strategic partnership between the two institutions. The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in the fields of training, professional development, and national talent development, supporting sustainability, serving the community, and addressing labor market needs.
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Dr. Hamdan Al Fazari, Vice Chancellor of Sohar University, and Mr. Ahmed Al Hajri, Director General of the Directorate of Labour in the North Al Batinah Governorate.
The memorandum aims to expand cooperation in implementing training and professional development programs, exchanging expertise, and launching high-impact initiatives that contribute to preparing and developing national talent while enhancing its readiness to meet evolving demands across various sectors.
Dr. Hamdan bin Suleiman Al Fazari, Vice Chancellor of Sohar University, stated:
