Sohar University appointed Dr. Awadh bin Ali Al-Mamari Pro VC of Student Affairs in early October 2023. He has strong academic and administrative credentials.
Dr. Awadh holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom. He worked as an Assistant Professorship and held leadership roles in various deanship for approximately 9 years. He also recently served as Assistant Vice Chancellor at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences until last September.
