A group of international students join the faculty of C&IT

The faculty of Computing and Information Technology at Sohar University attracted a group of international students to benefit from modern tools such as robots and the expertise available to complete vocational training requirements. Four students, two from the Canadian University of Memorial and two from the Malaysian UCSI, joined the vocational training course, which included lessons in programming the robot (Farhat) and programming languages such as Python. They were exposed to the latest devices in the college’s laboratories, including the Cisco laboratory, and learned how to find sustainable solutions, such as teaching students with autism spectrum disorder. Students were also included in the field of teaching assistance to other students, and the training period lasted for two months. The students expressed their satisfaction with the excellent treatment and Hospitality and making the most of the training, reflected in the academic aspect and the professional experiences gained.
