In the framework of enhancing academic and knowledge cooperation between educational and military institutions, Sohar University hosted a delegation from the Sultan Qaboos Naval Academy to showcase innovative solutions and exchange practical experiences and knowledge aimed at strengthening cooperation between leading academic institutions. During the visit, ways of joint cooperation and the exchange of expertise in educational, training, academic, and research programs offered by Sohar University were discussed.
The visit also included a tour of the university’s facilities, including specialized engineering and industrial laboratories, the library, and research centers, where the academy delegation expressed their admiration for the advanced infrastructure and academic capabilities provided by the university to its researchers and students, which contribute to serving the community and the industrial sector and developing the scientific and technical skills of students.
