In a new achievement that adds to its record of academic excellence, the Translation Student Team from Sohar University won first place in the written translation competition, held as part of the 15th Translation Symposium under the theme “The Translator in the Digital Age: Transformations and Challenges”. The event was organized by the English Language and Translation Society at Sultan Qaboos University on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
This victory stands as a testament to the high level of competence demonstrated by Sohar University’s students in the field of translation, and it reflects the university’s strong academic standards and the dedicated efforts of both students and faculty members at the Faculty of Language Studies.
