Sohar University is gearing up to celebrate the achievements of its students with two graduation ceremonies for the 24th batch of the Academic Year 2024/2025. The events reflect the University’s pride in the academic and professional excellence demonstrated by its graduates and reaffirm its commitment to preparing national talents capable of contributing to Oman’s comprehensive development.
The first ceremony will take place on Monday, 1 December 2025, at the University campus to honor graduates of Diploma in Teacher Preparation, under the patronage of Mr. Jamal Al-Ojaili, Chair person of Sohar University’s Board of Governors. This ceremony highlights the pivotal role of the program in preparing highly qualified teachers equipped with advanced skills that meet the needs of the education sector.
The second ceremony for the 24th batch will be held on Thursday, 4 December 2025, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, Madinat Al Irfan, Muscat, under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs. This major event will honor graduates from all six faculties of Sohar University—the Faculty of Education and Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Computing and IT, Faculty of Language Studies, and the Faculty of Business—across various academic levels including Diploma, Bachelor, Master, and PhD.
This annual milestone reflects Sohar University’s continued dedication to investing in quality education, fostering innovation, strengthening scientific research, and equipping students with the skills needed to enter the job market with confidence.
