Third Art Exhibition

In a vibrant embodiment of its mission to support student creativity and cultural engagement, Sohar University organized its third student art exhibition, titled “We Are Oman,” in collaboration with Sultan Qaboos Complex Youth Culture & Entertainment. The exhibition opened on Sunday, August 3, 2025, and runs until August 8, 2025.

The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Hassan bin Ihsan Al Naseeb, and was attended by a select group of academic and cultural figures, as well as students and art enthusiasts.

This exhibition is part of a series of events organized by the university to hone students’ artistic skills, strengthen their national identity through art, and expand cultural collaboration with leading institutions in the Sultanate. It also provides an opportunity for students to showcase their work to a diverse audience of artists and enthusiasts.

The exhibition featured 46 artworks created by Sohar University students, including 34 photographic paintings and 12 digital art pieces created using artificial intelligence technology. This showcases the diversity of artistic expression among the students and their ability to keep pace with technological advancements in creative fields.

The artworks are for sale, and the proceeds from the exhibition will go to the Siraj Waqf Foundation for Education.
