On Sunday July 6 2025 Sohar University inaugurated its annual Summer Program for school students, held on campus under the patronage of Dr. Hamdan bin Sulaiman Al Fazari, Vice Chancellor of the University. The event was attended by a number of university staff, faculty members, and participating students.
The program targets students from Grade 5 to Grade 12 and is part of Sohar University’s strategic commitment to supporting school education and skills and capabilities from an early age.
The summer program offers a diverse blend of educational, training, and recreational activities tailored to different age groups and individual interests. The program includes English, IT and mathematic sessions, in addition to workshops on Artificial Intelligence, IELTS and Health & Safety.
This initiative is considered one of the university’s key community outreach programs, reflecting Sohar University’s strong commitment to community development. It also aligns with the university’s comprehensive vision to foster an inclusive educational environment that extends beyond the classroom, helping students develop essential skills for the future.
