Student Artistic Talents Shine in the Heart of the Capital Muscat
As part of its ongoing commitment to enriching the student experience and nurturing creative talent, Sohar University, represented by the Student Activities Department, organized a photography and fine arts exhibition titled “We Are Oman” in collaboration with Bait Al Zubair. The exhibition took place from June 23 to 26, 2025, at Bait Al Zubair in Muscat.
This initiative reflects the university’s mission to empower students to express themselves through the arts and to engage them in cultural activities that enhance their creative skills. It also supports the university’s goal of preparing students to be globally oriented citizens with a strong national identity. The exhibition aims to strengthen partnerships with cultural institutions in Oman and to showcase students’ artistic expressions to a wider audience of enthusiasts, artists, and museum visitors.
The exhibition featured 50 artworks created by Sohar University students, including 40 photography pieces and 10 digital artworks produced using artificial intelligence tools—highlighting an innovative approach that bridges traditional art with modern technologies.
This event underscores Sohar University’s dedication to supporting and refining student talents while strengthening their presence in Oman’s cultural scene, in line with its strategic vision of building a creative and inclusive academic environment.
