Sohar University Library opens its doors to young visitors as part of the “Love of Books Begins in Childhood” initiative

Love of Books Begins in Childhood

In a first-of-its-kind community initiative, Sohar University’s Learning Resource Center has announced it will open its doors to welcome children aged 4 to 14 throughout the month of August. This step is based on the university’s belief that “the love of books begins in childhood”.

The initiative aims to provide a dedicated educational space for children, where they can explore the world of books and knowledge in a stimulating academic environment. It also seeks to instill the value of reading and discovery in the children, encouraging them to see the library as a source of inspiration and development.

The center welcomes children from 9 AM to 1 PM. The university affirms that this initiative is part of its broader vision to serve the local community and contribute to building a knowledgeable and educated generation.
