In a remarkable achievement that reflects Sohar University’s commitment to enhancing academic competencies and promoting the quality of legal education, the university has announced the inclusion of Six faculty members from the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Business in the National Registry of External Reviewers for the for higher education quality assurance – Law Program, effective from May 6, 2025.
This accreditation follows the successful completion of an intensive training program organized by the Oman Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority (OAAAQA). The program included advanced training in academic evaluation and external review methodologies. The accredited Sohar University faculty members now recognized as official external reviewers are:
Dr. Enas Qutaishat, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shibli, Dr. Majid Al-Adwan, Dr. Radwan Al-Haf, Dr. Abdelnour Hammadi, and Dr. Salahaldin Abdulkader.
This milestone marks a significant step in strengthening the role of Sohar University’s Faculty of Law in contributing to the advancement of the educational system in the Sultanate. It also reflects national confidence in the university’s academic capabilities and its commitment to excellence in accreditation standards and quality assurance.
The inclusion of these faculty members in the national registry forms part of the university’s strategic plan to empower its academic staff and contribute to the development of a high-quality national education system aligned with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.
