One of Sohar University’s top-ranked and most active faculties, the Faculty of Engineering is well-known for its history of producing competent graduates from academic programmes; research and consulting products of the highest caliber. Four undergraduate programmes, namely, the Bachelor in Chemical Engineering, the Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Bachelor in Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Bachelor in Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, -are- offered -at the Faculty of Engineering, over the past two decades -. Engineers Australia, a globally renowned accrediting authority, has accredited the bachelor’s programmes.
The Faculty of Engineering is the ideal place for students to pursue a career in engineering since it offers them the chance to work with reputable and experienced researchers and academics, as well as obtain practical experience through professional, practical training and cutting-edge research. In 2016 and 2022, respectively, the Master of Environmental Engineering and the Doctorate in Engineering were founded. Alumni of the Faculty of Engineering enjoy prominent positions in both national – and -international organizations.
