Our Services
Sohar University Alumni Relations Office aims to enhance and sustain the relationship between the University and its graduates by organizing many activities to connect the graduates with the University. In addition, it provides a range of privileges and services from the University and society as well, including:
- Participation in events organized by the University, including conferences, meetings, seminars, exhibitions, workshops and others.
- Having access to career guidance services.
- Allowing the graduate to use some of the LRC services at the University.
- Allowing the graduate to use some of the University facilities.
- Giving the outstanding members the chance to hold seminars or workshops for students and graduates.
- Receiving private invitations to participate in different kinds of University activities.
- Getting discounts and special offers from the University and other institutes.

It is a free card that is awarded to all Sohar University graduates with multiple and renewed benefits. It aims to enhance the relationship between Sohar University and its graduates by providing distinguished services for them from the University and the community as well and building a bridge for continuous communication between both parties.

- Allowing the alumni to use some of the Learning Resource Center services at the University

How can I get my Graduation Statement?
First: students studying at their own expense
- The student submits a release form (link) request after completing all graduation requirements for the diploma program, teaching diploma program, bachelor program and MA program.
- Get an Electronic version of graduation statement after completing release form procedures.
- Attend the admission and registration department to receive the original graduation statement.
Second: students who are sponsored by MoHERI for a bachelor’s degree
- The student applies for a release form (link) after completing all the graduation requirements for Bachelor program.
- Get an Electronic version of graduation statement after completing the procedures of release form.
- Attend the admission and registration department to receive the original graduation statement.
- In case if student wishes to have a diploma degree and does not wishes to continue studying for bachelor degree at the expense of the Ministry, he/she must submit for a diploma sufficiency on the Ministry’s website after completing all graduation requirements for the diploma program.
- After approval of the request by the Ministry, you must follow the steps 1,2,3.
Third: students who are sponsored by MoHERI for diploma program and outstanding students
- The student applies for a release form (link) after completing all the graduation requirements for Bachelor program.
- Get an Electronic version of graduation statement after completing the procedures of release form.
- Attend the admission and registration department to receive the original graduation statement.
- In case if the student was one of the outstanding students who do not want to complete their studying for bachelor’s program and didn’t get an approval from the Ministry concerning the continuation of their studies with a bachelor’s degree, they must follow the step 1,2,3.
- In case if the student was one of the outstanding students who do not want to complete their studying for bachelor’s program, but they were approved from the Ministry concerning the continuation of their studies with a bachelor’s degree, they must follow the steps no. 4,5.
Does the University provides workshops for the graduates?
Yes, as the University cares about empowering graduates and providing them with all the skills required for the labor market, career guidance services provides many training courses, workshops and lectures throughout the academic year. You can see the details via career guidance services webpage.
How can I get a training form?
You can obtain a training application form through the career guidance services webpage, then click on the “training” field. After that, fill out the training questionnaire.
