Dr. Mohsin Qureshi from the Faculty of Engineering at Sohar University participated in the prestigious 6th International Conference on Environmental Geotechnology, Recycled Waste Materials and Sustainable Engineering, held at the University of Vigo, Spain. The conference drew an enthusiastic international audience, featuring 211 participants from 31 countries across five continents, reflecting the global relevance of sustainable engineering practices.
He presented a research paper titled “Utilization of Industrial By-Products in Base Course of Flexible Pavements: A Resource Optimization Approach”, co-authored with collaborators from industry and Sohar University. The paper explores innovative strategies for integrating industrial by-products into pavement construction, aligning with global efforts to promote greener and more resource-efficient infrastructure.
