Sohar University received an academic delegation from the Republic of Türkiye, from Ankara University, as part of its efforts to foster international collaboration in higher education and scientific research.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Hamdan bin Sulaiman Al Fazari, Vice Chancellor of Sohar University. During their visit, the delegation toured the university’s faculties, laboratories, research departments, and various academic and technological facilities.
Dr. Al Fazari emphasized that this visit marks a significant step toward expanding international partnerships and enhancing Sohar University’s standing as a leading educational institution both regionally and globally.
The head of the Turkish delegation expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and praised the academic and research achievements of Sohar University. He also reaffirmed the commitment of Turkish universities to strengthening ties with Omani institutions across various academic and research domains.
