As part of its ongoing efforts to provide a comprehensive educational experience that meets the needs of the community and the labor market, Sohar University has announced the re-launch of the Marketing program, offered under the umbrella of the Faculty of Business.
This program aims to enhance the academic options available to students aspiring to build a professional future in modern marketing fields. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical application in line with the evolving digital landscape and changing consumer behavior.
To be eligible for admission into the program, applicants must have successfully completed the General Education Diploma, in addition to achieving at least a B2 level in all four language skills (writing, reading, listening, and speaking) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Furthermore, applicants are required to pass the IC3 exam, which assesses digital literacy skills, and also pass the Oxford Math Test, ensuring students possess the necessary foundational competencies for success in the program.
The new program is expected to prepare national talents capable of innovation and excellence in both digital and traditional marketing fields, keeping pace with the rapid developments in the local and global business environment.
