- UNIR (University Requirement) English courses are credit-bearing language support courses that are offered to undergraduate students of Faculty of Computer and Information Technology (FCIT), Faculty of Business (FB) and Faculty of Engineering (FE).
- UNIR courses aim to enhance English language skills of students with focus on the communication skills and academic writing skills.
- GFP delivers three UNIR courses: UNIR1100- Communication Skills I, UNIR2100- Communication Skills II and UNIR3100-Communication Skills III.
- Each course is equivalent to 2 credit hours. Normal contact hours of each course are 60 hours comprising 2 hours of lectures and 2 hours of tutorials each week for 15 weeks.
