The Career Guidance and Alumni Services Department at Sohar University organized a workshop entitled "CV Writing," delivered by Mr. Ali Al-Essai from Azar Group. The workshop targeted students and graduates, focusing on the key skills and essential elements that should be included in a professional CV, as well as how to structure it effectively to reflect applicants’ competencies and strengths in the job market. The session witnessed strong engagement from participants and contributed to raising awareness about the importance of preparing a well-structured and impactful CV that clearly presents academic qualifications, experiences, and career aspirations.

The session hosted Dr. Khalid Al-Alawi, poet and Head of the Omani Writers and Literati Association – North Al Batinah Branch. Sohar University Wins First Place in Entrepreneurship Competition organized by Riyada

A student team from Sohar University won first place in the Entrepreneurship Competition organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, for their innovative project titled “Smart Trap for Detecting Red Palm Weevil”, presented by Saaf Company. The project aims to protect palm trees from one of the most dangerous agricultural pests by utilizing artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT) to develop a mobile smart trap carried by a drone, enabling the early detection of the red palm weevil.
Sohar University’s College of Law Organizes a Field Visit to Oman Council
