Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering program is practice-oriented aimed to develop well-qualified Civil Engineers who could work in industries and other related environments. Students learn about design, analysis and construction management. Students can also guide others who perform these functions, in civil engineering and related industries, consultancies, government departments, universities and private practice. The curriculum is designed to produce graduates who are capable of applying the knowledge of Science and Engineering to realize economical production and technology development. The curriculum contains significant practical components, site visits and training opportunities aimed at integrating theory with practical application. The curriculum is aimed to develop expertise in core areas such as steel and concrete structures, structural design, geotechnical fields, water resources, transportation systems and environmental systems. Civil Engineering Bachelor degree graduates are specialized in different fields of Engineering practices related to the program such as Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, Transportation Engineer and Civil Engineering Researcher. On the other hand, Civil Engineering Diploma degree graduates work as Technicians in the aforementioned fields.
