Information For Authors

Submission Process:

  • Authors must submit manuscripts electronically via the SUJEITI submission portal.
  • If you encounter issues with the online portal, submissions may be sent directly to mmazroouai@su.edu.om in MS Word format.
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

 

Preparation of Manuscripts:

The SUFEITI journal accepts unpublished and original research papers, review articles, theoretical articles, and reports and studies to be submitted under consideration for publication. All authors should register with the journal before submitting the manuscripts, and all manuscripts/authors must conform to the following guidelines:

  • The article should be written in MS Word software and follow the APA Style format (One-column, one-space, 12-point Times New Roman, with full author information and DOI).
  • It should be written in English, using either American or British spelling, and should be clear, concise, and grammatically correct.
  • The article should be original research work and should not be published/ sent anywhere.
  • The article should be plagiarism-free, with less than a 20% similarity rate.
  • AI generative text cannot be used to write the submitted research papers. However, it can enhance the writing style of papers.
  • All authors must agree to the Copyright Statement when submitting the manuscripts.
  • All authors must be responsible for the manuscript's content, contribute equally, and agree on the authorship order.
  • The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest regarding the publication of this paper.
  • The authors have declared the funding sources for the publication of this paper.
  • All figures should be precise (high resolution) and Original rather than copied from other media.
  • Authors should mention any ethical approval committees and the approval number/ID, if applicable (dealing with humans or animals).
  • Authors should mention all sources/ raw data used in the manuscript on request and guarantee that all data used is genuine and not fabricated.
  • Use the Microsoft Word template  to prepare your manuscript. 

Manuscript Structure:

  • Title Page: This page should include the paper's title, the names of the authors (excluding academic titles such as Dr. or Prof.), their affiliations, and email addresses. Clearly indicate the corresponding author to ensure proper communication during the review process.
  • Abstract: Submit an abstract of no more than 200-250 words along with 4-6 keywords that accurately reflect the paper's content. The abstract should explicitly and briefly explain the purpose of the study, the design/methods used, the results obtained, and the originality (novelty/contributions) of the work.
  • Main Text: Organize the main text with an introductory section, followed by the main body divided into sections as necessary. Conclude with a section titled "Conclusions." Use a clear and concise writing style to facilitate readability. Ensure that the main document does not contain any identifiable information about the authors or their institutions to maintain the integrity of the double-blind review process.
  • Implications for Sustainable Business Practices: Authors are advised to include a section titled "Implications for Sustainable Practices" dedicated to explaining the implications drawn from the study's findings that help managers ensure sustainable business practices.
  • Font and Spacing: The entire manuscript should be typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, black color, and should be single-spaced to ensure clarity and a compact presentation.
  • References: Adhere strictly to the APA 7th edition format for all references and in-text citations. Ensure that all references cited in the text are listed at the end of the document, maintaining comprehensive and accurate citation practices.

Processing Charge:

The SU Journal of Engineering and Information Technology Innovations does not charge any fees for publishing research. This includes fees for submission, peer-refereed, editing, publication, preservation, archiving, and providing immediate access to full-text articles.

In line with the journal’s commitment to promoting the contemporary publication of high-quality, distinguished, and original research papers, an incentive reward of OMR 100 (inclusive of transfer fees) will be granted to the corresponding author for each paper successfully published in the journal. This policy will take effect from the upcoming issue and will remain in force until further notice.
