Welcome to the SU 2nd Students' Language Conference 2019. The Conference aims to provide a platform for students to exchange, share and update their knowledge in the field of language studies.
Call for Abstracts:
Students in Oman are welcome to participate in the language conference by sending their abstracts that address policies, practices, issues and future directions in the fields of language studies and translation.
Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstracts should clearly state the objective of the presentation and provide a clear summary of the content.
  • The abstracts should be between 200 and 250 words.

  • In a pair/group presentation, the first author serves as the primary contact for all correspondence regarding the abstract.
  • Participants should state the category in which they wish to enroll in (oral/poster presentations).

Presentation Guidelines:

  • Oral Presentation (15-minute presentation followed by Q &A session)
  • Poster Competition (5-minute presentation followed by Q &A session)
Registration:
  • Free for both presenters and attendees

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: March 14th 2019
  • Acceptance Notification: March 17th 2019
  • Registration Deadline for Presenters: March 19th 2019
  • Conference Date: Wednesday, April 9th 2019
