##plugins.themes.academic_pro.article.main##
Abstract
This study examines the current state of research on the determinants of women’s investment decisions through a bibliometric analysis of 170 publications indexed in the Scopus database from 2011 to 2025. Using performance analysis and science mapping techniques with VOSviewer and Biblioshiny (R Studio), the study identifies influential authors, journals, keywords and thematic trends shaping this research domain. The findings reveal a growing scholarly interest in gender-based financial behavior with increasing emphasis on financial literacy, empowerment, entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The results further highlight the evolving role of digital finance and fintech innovations in enhancing women’s participation in investment decision-making. Unlike existing bibliometric studies that focus broadly on financial inclusion or behavioral finance, this study specifically integrates gender-focused investment determinants with thematic evolution analysis offering a more targeted and structured understanding of the field. The study contributes by mapping the intellectual structure and identifying emerging research directions, while also acknowledging limitations related to database selection and language constraints. These insights are valuable for researchers, policymakers and practitioners aiming to promote inclusive financial participation.
