The Article is Published in International Journal of Environmental Analytical Chemistry (WoS IF 1.431, SCOPUS) and involves Academic staff from Faculties of Engineering and Business, Sohar University, collaborating with reputed international researchers from SSN Engineering College and Annamalai University India.
This research was focused on the synthesis of a novel hybrid nano-composite at Sohar university labs and utilization for heavy metal contaminated wastewater treatment. The results of this study demonstrated the feasibility and efficient application of the nanocomposite. The characterization of the nano - composite proved the presence of surface-active functional groups and the availability of high surface area. The modeling studies validated the mechanism of removal of the target pollutants.
