Programming Club

On Thursday, 18th of February, under the patronage of Professor Ahmed Al-Kayed, Dean of Faculty of Computing and IT, the first contest was held as a challenge in the FCIT Programming Club. Given a stored procedure that counts the statistics in a real-world internet-based solution, the club students were asked to make sense of the code and then implement the source code on their computers, enclosed with a report. Accordingly, we selected a shortlist of student names who had provided the correct answer and finally chose the two best answers. We offered the winners a letter of appreciation and gifts.
