Directed Remote Learning DRL

 Directed Remote Learning DRL

In response to the exceptional circumstances related to the spread of the Corona virus in Oman, the University has adopted a revised approach to learning and teaching and implemented Directed Remote Learning (DRL). Students will be given 4 tasks to complete during the revised semester 2, all of which are aligned with the respective learning outcomes approved by the MoHE. The program started on April 19 with a week of induction. Course work began on April 26 and students have been given access to all materials on the University moodle system, SULMS. The main advantage of DRL is that students can download the materials and work remotely at any time. Academic staff are available through a variety of forums to support students through the process.
