Manal AL Abri, a lecturer at Sohar University, began her studies in English Language and Translation Studies as a student in 2004 and joined the faculty as a TA in 2009. She completed her MA in TESOL from Sohar University in 2020. She currently teaches translation and communication courses in the Faculty of Language Studies.
