Four Academic staff recipients Vice Chancellor’s Outstanding Teaching Award for the academic year 2019/ 2020:
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Barry Winn, presented the Outstanding Teaching Award for 2017/2018 to Dr. Abdullah Ali Al Shibli from the Faculty of Law and Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al Ajmi from the Faculty of Education and Arts. The Outstanding Teaching Award is awarded to academic staff who are nominated by their colleagues or students in recognition of their innovative approach to teaching. The University strives to provide a learning environment that nurtures talent and encourages success. It also invests continuously in creative spaces conducive to innovative teaching and social learning to enhance the approach to academic advising. Highlighting the achievements of staff helps share best practice and values innovative approaches to teaching in higher education.
